packet sender is an open source, multi-platform application designed to help you test your internet connection by sending and receiving TCP (Transmission Control Protocol) and UDP (User Datagram Protocol) packets.

Additionally, Packet Sender allows you to set the packet name, ASCII code (it is automatically converted to HEX) and allows you to set the IP address and the port that should be used.

Furthermore, the Packet Sender app offers you the possibility to switch between the two transport protocols.

In the Packet Sender Traffic Log panel, you can monitor your activity and view error messages, if any.

As an added bonus, you can switch UDP and TCP servers from the packet sender settings panel, change their ports and enable the “send responses” feature.
