The Paper application is designed to help users focus on writing while also formatting using Markdown syntax. Of course, the editor supports working in full-screen mode.

The Paper user interface is represented by a single window, and you can choose whether you want the title bar to be visible (you can choose to toggle the visibility on mouse hover). In addition, the utility allows you to switch between different text display modes: rich text, typewriter or focus mode (paragraph or sentence).
In addition, Paper comes with word and character counters, and you can choose whether you want to view them in the corner or next to the edit line.
For your convenience, Paper allows you to rely on Markdown syntax to process formatting, and even provides hot keys for some of the most commonly used functions, such as handling titles, inserting links, or emphasizing different parts.
Paper comes with a night theme designed to protect your eyes when working in the dark, control the appearance of the cursor, scroll bar and title bar, and even allow you to change the appearance of the Dock icon.

You can also control the text so that you can modify the font size and style, line length, or accent color. Please note that by default, paper documents are saved as Markdown files, but you can also export the data as PDF, HTML, rich text, or plain text files.
