Although macOS is a great operating system that can help you be more productive and work faster, there are still some issues when dealing with NTFS-formatted drives.

Access NTFS drives

Although macOS can read data from NTFS partitions, it does not allow you to write data on such drives by default.thanks Canonical NTFS You can now break this barrier and use both HFS and NTFS formatted drives.

UFSD technology

Behind Paragon NTFS is an advanced Paragon technology called Universal File System Driver or UFSD. UFSD was primarily developed to provide unrestricted access to NTFS, FAT and Ext2/3FS volumes under the macOS platform without support for these file systems.

Lightweight system drivers are distributed using DMG disk images containing installation packages and uninstallers. Once installed, Paragon NTFS allows you to access ultra-high capacity disks, IDE, SCSI and SATA/eSATA disks, Solid State Drives, PC Card storage devices, Thunderbolt, FireWire, USB 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0 disks.

Support for multiple disk types

You can access Paragon NTFS’s preference pane through the System Preferences window and view a list of all available NTFS partitions. The General tab allows you to enable or disable the driver or turn it off, and choose which partitions you wish to access.

By accessing the Info tab you can easily check the status of Paragon NTFS, check for updates or uninstall the driver with just a click of a mouse button.
