pass director is a minimalist macOS application designed to help you store all your important information in a secure environment. The utility uses the AES-256 algorithm to encrypt the database, which can be stored in your iCloud account or synced to your iPhone.

PassDirector’s main window is divided into 3 main columns: the first column displays all supported entry types, the second column allows you to view the accounts contained in a specific group, and the last one allows you to view and edit the properties of each entry.

The application is capable of storing details about bank accounts, credit cards, personal notes, hardware, email accounts, websites, serial numbers, internet connections, FTP servers, and more. Finding your way around the PassDirector app proves to be quite intuitive thanks to the well-organized user interface.

To enter new data, simply double-click the corresponding area and PassDirector will open a separate text panel where you can type the information. Additionally, the app includes a password generator designed to help you maintain an above-average level of security.

The PassDirector database can be backed up to a locally stored file, or you can connect to an iPhone device and transfer the information to the PassDirector for iOS companion app.

Additionally, you can store the database in your iCloud account, which means it can be easily synced to all your devices.
