Average postage $ is a simple software solution for handling bulk postal mail that can be used by churches, small businesses, mail delivery services, non-profit organizations, or anyone who needs to handle bulk mail with ease.

Sort mail by category and size

Postage $aver allows you to sort mailing lists according to United States Postal Service (USPS) regulations. The sort order of your mail depends on the mail class you use (Standard Mail, Surface Mail, Periodical Mail, or Package Select Light Mail) and the size of your package. Therefore, for each mail class, there is a predefined USPS size class for delivering letters, postcards, large mail, marketing, business processable, or irregular packages.

You can decide whether to add a barcode by selecting Lightweight Mail for Journal categories and Parcels, for the other two types of mail categories this option is automatically enabled. To be able to use barcodes, automated emails need to contain a certified zip+4 postal code format. Additionally, for each type of barcode, you can specify which mailing service to use, such as Basic Service or Full Service.

Export existing mailing list and print report

Postage $aver is compatible with a variety of applications including Excel, Access, Filemaker Pro or dBase. Therefore, it can sort existing mailing lists in USPS order, or save sort fields in ACCDB or MDB format.

The app can print barcoded pallet or sack labels, complete postage reports, full assembly instructions for mailing purposes, price qualification reports, area, bundle or container reports required for bulk mailing of journals.

Overall, Postage $aver is a simple to use application for sorting and processing postal bulk mail while permanently updating current postage statement forms and postage rates. The app doesn’t print address labels, as your word processor or mailing list software can do.
