COBWEB Design Studio presents ‘Qaida Noorania’, an app designed for beginners to learn the correct recitation of the Holy Quran.

Traditionally, learning to recite and understand the Qur’an required the supervision of religious scholars. However, due to logistical challenges and geographical limitations, this practice has now been limited to parents who teach their children or rely on paper versions of Qaeda’s. Unfortunately, both of these methods lack the guided audio talafuz/tajweed.

To address this gap ‘Qaida Noorania’ has been developed. By leveraging the portability, multimedia capabilities and widespread acceptance of the iPad, this app aims to provide a comprehensive solution for learning Quranic recitation.

The features of the Qaida Noorania application include:

• Bilingual recitation in Urdu/Arabic (zabar, zeer, pesh/fatheh, kasra, dumah)
• 17 indexed lessons (basic to advanced)
• 1078 text buttons (individual letters to aggregate words)
• Bookmark individual buttons
• Swipe and pinch gestures for easy navigation
• Tongue visuals for alphabets in lesson 1
• Practice mode for lesson 1
• Help screens for extra support
