How to Play Music on Windows Phone 8
1/5
Playing music from Windows Phone using Replay Music is quite easy. Simply record the music you want to play and then decide where to store it. Once you select a location, all of your previous saved music will be available in your music library. You can then preview each song and see what it should sound like when played on Windows. The great thing about this app is that you can even listen to the same song from another source through the microphone on your phone; you just need to play it through Windows Phone to hear it.
When you record a new song, you should start by going to the Recording tab in the Windows Phone main menu. Click the Open button and then find the recording session. If you want to start a new music or recording, you can simply click the “Create Recording” link in the list and follow the instructions. In the recording session selection window, you will notice that there are two buttons on one line; one is “Start Recording” and the other is “Stop Recording”. You can then click the Stop button to end the active recording session.
The next step is choosing a music genre. You can choose any genre you like if it is not available in the Windows Mobile Store. In the left pane, you will notice that there is an “Audio Library” section and an “Audio Clip” section. You can select any of these items to add new items to your collection of saved songs for repeat playback.
