Web applications make sense when you want to quickly access your work on any device, but they are notoriously difficult to use effectively. Classic browsers will not make your work easier, because their tab-based design is simply not suitable for managing and switching between multiple web applications.

If you need to display multiple pages on the screen at any given time, you can take advantage of the split screen mode. It can even be turned on or off with a simple hotkey, in case you only need to quickly check something.

Smart workspace and easy navigation

A smart way to stay focused and keep your workspace clean is to pause or delete applications or pages that are no longer needed for a project. If you need to use the page for another project, you can even move the page to a different workspace.

Hopeful, but still in the early stages

SigmaOS looks great so far, but it still lacks many customization options that you are used to classic browsers. You cannot change the default search engine, extensions are not yet supported, and there is no clear way to manage allowed trackers and cookies, but you can choose to open the workspace in private browsing mode.

It is also worth mentioning that the pricing plan has not yet been determined, so it is not clear how much it will cost to continue using it. Nevertheless, it is definitely worth a try, and you will have to wait to see if the final price is worth the benefits that SigmaOS provides.
