Apple TV Siri Remote can connect to your Mac via Bluetooth, but if you don’t have the SiriMote application, all you can do is test the Apple TV application in Xcode Simulator. SiriMote Allows you to use the device to control any macOS application that responds to media keys.

Pair Apple TV Siri Remote with Mac using Bluetooth receiver

In the main SiriMote window, you can get detailed instructions on how to connect the Apple TV Siri Remote device to your Mac. In short, navigate to the “System Preferences” Bluetooth panel, press and hold the “Menu” and “Volume Up” buttons on the Apple TV Siri Remote device for 5 seconds, and then click the “Pair” button on your computer.
