Soundplant, or the process of creating and using synthetic sounds with a computer, is a tool that can be used in many different ways. Soundplant uses your computer’s speakers to create a wide range of different sounds that can be played through your speakers or simply mixed with your computer’s sound card. Soundplant is an easy-to-use, ready-to-use technology. Soundplant is used by artists around the world to create music, create atmosphere, and enhance and enhance artist performances.

Soundplant was created by Mac Anderson, an IT professional based in Portland, Oregon who was looking for a powerful new way to improve his performance skills. After working in the U.S. military, Anderson realized that limited launch sounds through a headset were too restrictive and therefore did not greatly affect his performance. Soundplant offers a long list of short effects including chords, vocals and anything else you can think of to improve your performance.

Soundplant lets you use a virtual keyboard to trigger all of these sounds and creates a whole new way to perform, taking your performances to the next level. Soundplant works with iHome hardware and runs on any Mac OS X machine. iHome is a company that designs, manufactures and supports commercial Apple electronics products. Soundplant works well with both live and background audio, but is especially useful for running live music.
