You can find many applications that can extract text from images with great accuracy. But if you just want to grab some text from a document or web page, you usually have to grab a screenshot, do text detection on it, and then delete it.
and text grabber 2, you can skip the middleman and extract text directly without any screenshots. Any images copied to the clipboard (including using the macOS Screen to Clipboard command) will be processed as extractable text.
The easiest way to use the app is on macOS Cmd-Control-Shift-4 command that allows you to select an area of the screen to be copied to the clipboard. This hotkey can be remapped, which might be a good idea if you use it a lot.
