Tor Browser for Android is the only official mobile browser supported by the Tor Project, developers of the world’s strongest tools for online privacy and freedom.

Note: For this release, you will also need to install Orbot, a proxy application that will connect Tor Browser for Android with the Tor network. For the upcoming stable version of Tor Browser for Android, our goal is that Orbot should not be required to connect to Tor.

Known issue: Our security slider is now under “Security Settings”, but due to a small issue, it only appears after you restart the app. We plan to fix it for the next release.

Block trackers

The Tor browser isolates every website you visit, so third-party trackers and ads can’t follow you. All cookies are automatically deleted when you have finished browsing.
