Twistedbrush is a great new program for creating art using Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro or GIMP. It doesn’t have the same interface as other brush painting programs, but it does have an extensive library of brushes and techniques specifically designed to be easy to use for anyone who has used Photoshop before. Many of these brushes have been professionally designed by Twistedbrush and are great for beginners, and even more so for those who have never used any painting software before.

This program was created by Mike Williams, creator of one of the most popular and well-known image editing software packages on the planet. Twistedbrush is very user friendly, and the fact that it’s based on the professional GIMP software means you’ll have access to many of the same features as you would with Photoshop, including the same brushes and effects, plus all the same basic functions such as modifying, cropping and red-eye reduction. The only thing that sets Twistedbrush apart from many other Photoshop painting packages is its easy-to-use interface and the fact that it also includes a free version.

Some of the unique features of Twistedbrush are that it has a library of over 900 brushes, as well as hundreds of effects and color filters. However, these are not any plugins or shortcuts for using Photoshop, but rather fully editable brushes and effects that work with just one touch of the mouse. You can also change the brush color in different ways using the same palette as the brushes. There are many other features, and many of them are exclusive to the open studio version of Twistedbrush. Even more advanced features are available when you upgrade to the professional version.
