UEFI tools is an open-source and platform-independent tool for macOS and Windows that enables you to work with different types of BIOS files. It comes with several useful functions for BIOS modifiers and a clean user interface.

With the UEFITool application you can open the following types of BIOS image files: ROM, BIN, CAP, FD, EFI, WPH and BIO, and if the application recognizes your BIOS file, it will show its content and internal structure in a list middle.

Additionally, UEFITool provides several pieces of information about image files: name, rebuild status, type, subtype and text.

In addition to browsing the structure of a BIOS image, UEFITool will help you rebuild and extract information (with or without headers).

In addition, you can perform other additional operations such as inserting partial files before, during or after selected sections in the BIOS image.

When you’re done editing an image, you can save it on your local disk with any name and one of the supported file extensions (ROM, BIN, CAP, FD, EFI, or WPH).

As far as appearance is concerned, UEFITool has a very simple, clean and organized user interface. The main window provides a left pane for selecting actions (Open, Save, Rebuild, etc.), a main pane for browsing the contents of the BIOS image, and a right pane containing information about the selected section.

UEFITool is still a work in progress in terms of development. However, it offers a handy set of BIOS modification features, a very easy-to-use interface, and its future looks promising.
