Vivaldi’s new version 6.9 is now available in a version for Windows 11 on ARM. The update also provides improved tab management and more efficient browsing and eliminates bugs. Find the entire changelog here.

Vivaldi 6.9 is now not only available for Windows 11 on ARM, but also brings special optimizations for the platform. They are meant to result in optimized performance, faster load times, smoother scrolling and improved responsiveness. The full range of features are also available in the Arm version, including tab management, a customizable interface, tracking and ad blockers. Bookmarks, passwords, history and settings can be synchronized across all devices, including Vivaldi on Arm systems.

Vivaldi 6.9 comes with a number of changes that are available for all platforms in the browser. A new tab renaming feature is meant to help organize tabs better, and the same feature is also available for tab stacks.

The download panel, where recently downloaded files can be found, has also been updated. This panel now supports drag and drop, allowing the contents of the panel to be dragged to other areas of the system. In this way, files can be dragged from the download panel to the desktop, to a special folder, to an open program or as an attachment to an e-mail, for example. Multiple files can also be selected and moved as a group.

Vivaldi 6.9 fixes bugs in the browser. Everything from tab behavior to the responsiveness of the user interface has been improved. All changes are listed in the change log.

Apart from the browser itself, Vivaldi has made more than 40 email and calendar fixes for the integrated email client Vivaldi Mail, which are intended to improve stability and performance.
