Vector illustration It is a simple graphics utility designed to help you create vector-based raster patterns and halftones based on bitmap images.

Start with a custom image to create stunning raster patterns and halftones

Vectoraster comes with a simple and intuitive interface, from which you can quickly and freely configure raster patterns and point shapes to generate a variety of different styles. The best part is to generate and display the generated raster in real time as you adjust the parameters.

As shown below, the left panel enables you to load primary and secondary source images, change measurement methods, and adjust offset and index values with just a few mouse clicks. You can also choose to resize the document and view detailed information about the generated raster.

Easily adjust the parameters and colors of the patterns and grating points used

With the help of the right panel, you can switch between different shapes and change the edge, fillet, and shrinkage parameters. You can even customize the size, outline and color of the points, and change the aspect ratio and rotation of the points.

Most importantly, Vectoraster can help you choose between different pattern types and manually set the spacing value. You can even transform the selected pattern and try different settings or apply distortion effects.

When you are satisfied with the generated raster, you can easily export everything to vector format through EPS and PDF files, as well as use JPEG, PNG and TIF standards.

Batch process multiple images or frames in a video

It is worth mentioning that Vectoraster has batch processing capabilities, so you can directly apply rasters to all images in a given folder or frames in QuickTime movie files.

All in all, Vectoraster is a highly customizable OS X application that can help you create vector-based raster patterns with just a few mouse clicks.
