xxHash provides an open source hash algorithm generator designed to help you print and verify checksum data for executable files in Windows. It generates the same hash on all platforms using little and big endian.
One of its strengths is processing speed, providing extremely fast algorithms. The library includes algorithms for 32-bit hashing (XXH32) using 32-bit arithmetic, 64-bit hashing (XXH64) using 64-bit arithmetic, and 128-bit hashing (XXH128) using vector-based arithmetic.

The downloaded package contains the XXHSUM application, which can be launched through the command console. The application can display an extended help file explaining all available commands and functions.
Before proceeding, you can easily choose which hashing algorithm to use. By default, xxHash uses big endian, but you can modify this setting. XxhSUM can also be used to validate checksum data, warning you about malformed checksum lines.
