GetDataBack is a powerful data recovery tool. It can recover lost data from Windows, Linux or Mac disks if the data is inaccessible due to partitioning, formatting, virus attack or other hardware failure. Note. When you are going to recover data, DO NOT install this program or anything else on the hard drive you want to recover.

This software has two ways to recover lost files. The first way to recover lost files is to perform a full Windows scan. With this option, the user interface for GetDataBack allows the user to select a directory where recoverable files can be restored and then start the entire process. During the whole process, the user will be able to enter two basic commands:

The second method is performed using the native Windows GetDataBack driver to retrieve the files contained in the partition, as well as to retrieve all related folders. The Windows driver creates a set of bootable logical drives that Windows can use to boot. As soon as the computer boots, it reads the boot files contained on these disks, which then run the rest of the data recovery software. If your Mac does not have an internal boot device, you will need an external USB drive to start this process. If your Mac’s main drive is a Seagate external hard drive (which uses a very simple compression method), GetDataBack will boot your computer and extract any missing files.
