The app has been designed with simplicity in mind. It is a small, lightweight application with a simple interface that is concise and easy to use.

Image Tuner Free supports drag and drop, so all your images or folders containing them can be dragged to the left pane and then viewed by highlighting them. Once you have selected all the desired images, simply select the output options in the right pane. If you get stuck, it comes with a built-in help file that will answer any questions you might have.

The app comes with a range of resizing profiles for popular social networking websites like Facebook or devices like Apple’s iPhone. You can also set sizes for your images if you like. Image Tuner Free supports conversion to .JPG, .PNG, .BMP, .GIF or .TIF, and you can also choose the image conversion quality you want.

All in all, Image Tuner Free is a really neat little app that can do a range of image processing tasks. The only downside we could find is that it doesn’t have algorithms for enlarging images while maintaining high quality. That being said, the number of other features outweighs any tools not found in this free software. With batch conversion support and the ability to add and edit watermarks, Image Tuner Free is a great app for doing those tedious resizing jobs.
