Notebook is a note-taking app that can perform multiple roles: you can use it as a diary, use it to record meetings, manage your to-do lists, or just keep track of your ideas.

The Notebook application has a beautiful design and has built-in sharing features, but you cannot export or s ave the entries in a format of your choice. However, you can create a free account and use the associated cloud storage account to sync data across all your devices.

Create text or audio notes and organize them in predefined catalogs

In the main Notebook window, you can browse your notebook collections or quickly start writing text notes, recording audio, importing pictures, or creating to-do lists. At this point, all new entries are automatically sent to the default notebook.

Via app preferences, you can change the default notepad, decide if you want to include the time on the card, if you want to group images or change the text editor’s font and color. the default note.

It’s worth mentioning that Notebook also comes with a huge collection of keyboard shortcuts that let you manage notepads or interact with notes and the text editor in a simpler way (you can’t change combinations by default.)

Share your notes through the default macOS menu or use the associated cloud storage service

Each Notebook entry includes the macOS Share menu that lets you send content to the Notes, Mail, or Messages apps, or post the entries to Twitter or Facebook. However, Notebook does not include any import or export functionality.

On the other hand, you can also sign up for a free cloud storage account and use the developer’s servers to store your inputs and sync data with other devices.

The Zoho cloud account doesn’t seem to have any limitations, but keep in mind that you can’t view your notes through the web (you need to have the Notebook app installed on the device.)

Notebook tries to simulate the ease of use of a physical notebook in the digital age: you can enter textual content, record audio, create to-do lists, or import image files. All of this data can be organized in catalogs and you can easily move entries between notebooks.
