There won’t be a Thursday night football game between the Ravens and Cowboys in Week 13, although Fox has found a way to give football a new twist on Thursday night.

The NFL has postponed the Ravens-Cowboys for Tuesday of Week 13 due to a COVID-19 outbreak in Baltimore. However, Fox didn’t want its prime-time TV slot to be wasted entirely. The network has moved the MLS Western Conference semi-final between Sporting Kansas City and Minnesota United to Thursday night from a time previously scheduled for Wednesday. Fox retains the broadcast rights to the Dallas-Baltimore game, but it will begin at 8:05 p.m. ET on Tuesday, December 8. This followed as the league was forced to change the Ravens’ Week 12 game in Pittsburgh on Thanksgiving, then returned from a Sunday afternoon schedule before it was finally played on Wednesday. Baltimore could still be at the bottom of COVID-19 recoveries on its roster, a roster that included 2019 NFL MVP Lamar Jackson.

Is there a Thursday night football game tonight?

There was supposed to be a football game tonight, but there isn’t. The Ravens and Cowboys have been postponed to play on Tuesday, December 8, with Baltimore’s Week 12 game being postponed three times due to a COVID-19 outbreak on their team.

Assuming there are no further schedule changes, “Thursday Night Football” will resume in Week 14 when the Patriots and Cam Newton travel west to face Jared Goff and the Rams. However, in week 13 you will have to settle for something else on your TV on Thursday night.
