The Ospreys are "excited about the opportunities ahead" after Asia-based sports marketing group Y11 Sports & Media bought a 75.1 percent stake in the Welsh rugby union.

Ospreys President Rob Davies will remain in office as he and the pre-existing shareholders will collectively retain a 24.9% interest, with CEO James Davies-Yandle and financier Donald Tang also being directors. of the club.

A new holding company, Ospreys International Group, was created after the "multi-million dollar" deal, with all the financial benefits to move to the club.
