Who to start with, sit back in fantasy football for the NFL Week 12 Thanksgiving games

Watching NFL games at Thanksgiving 2020 isn’t just a reason to eat more and spend a little less time talking to family. It’s also week 12, which has strong fantasy football implications for anyone trying to make the playoffs in the seasonal leagues. That means you need timely advice on who to start and get into Thursday’s three clashes.

Because we have six teams to break instead of two (Update: Break Four Teams)Let’s jump right into the huge help that comes with “the mini-Decider” and add some composition decisions for the DraftKings showdown. Start with tips for the full list of week 12 games, Click here:

Fantasy Start ’em, Sit’ em: Texans vs Lions (12:30 p.m. ET, CBS)

Texans start and sit down

  • Start: QB Deshaun Watson, WR Will Fuller, WR Brandin Cooks, RB Duke Johnson Jr.
  • Sit: K Ka’imi Fairbairn, Texans D / ST
  • Sleeping: TE Jordan Akins

Watson comes out of a monster game against the Patriots defense and consistently gets his two best wide receivers to produce, and now Houston’s No.3 (Randall Cobb) and No.4 (Kenny Stills) are injured, which will boost more the goals of Fuller and the cooks in the field. … Johnson hasn’t looked good as a filler for David Johnson (concussion), but the Lions are the absolute best matchup for running backs. …. The Lions are too generous in the red zone to go with Fairbairn. … Akins (5 of 6, 83 yards) stood out in his tight end committee in Week 11 and should get more looks with Cobb from the slot machine.

Lions start and sit down

  • Start: RB D’Andre Swift (no concussion), TE TJ Hockenson, QB Matthew Stafford
  • Sit: WR Marvin Jones Jr., RB Adrian Peterson, RB Kerryon Johnson, Lions D / ST, K Matt Prater
  • Sleeping: WR Danny Amendola (if he returns from his hip injury)

Swift (concussion) had limited training on Tuesday, giving him a chance to play after missing the glorious Week 11 showdown with the Panthers. This showdown is equally spectacular, ready to explode and pick up where it left off as (finally) a star rookie stallion of the week 10. That said, if you lose the match, it’s hard to trust. to Peterson or Johnson given their incompetence. Carolina in a favorable filling place. … Hockenson is locked up like a TE1 every week. … Stafford should bounce back with at least some trash pass stats in the second half. … Jones has been retained by the Panthers and will draw tough cover from Bradley Roby with Kenny Golladay (hip) set to miss another game. … Amendola is a better bet than Marvin Hall to produce more consistently for a half point or full PPR. … The Texans are too cowardly in the red zone to go with Prater.

Fantasy Start ’em, Sit’ em: Washington Football Team vs. Cowboys (4:30 p.m. ET, Fox)

Washington starts and sits down

  • Start: RB Antonio Gibson, WR Terry McLaurin, RB JD McKissic
  • Sit: QB Alex Smith, Washington D / ST, K Dustin Hopkins
  • Sleeping: TE Logan Thomas

Gibson’s rookie season doesn’t get a lot of buzz, but he’s racked up 742 scrum yards and eight touchdowns as one of fantasy’s most consistent scorers in 2020. He’s locked in as an RB2 with perks every week. . … McKissic will continue to get enough reception work for FLEX IT in the PRPD leaning leagues. … Smith used McLaurin’s talent more. … As for Smith, the numbers might say he’s a viable broadcast QB1, but he should be reserved for two-QB leagues with no weeks off, even with the right game. … It’s hard to trust the defense after Dallas woke up offensively last week. … The Cowboys improved against a tight end, but Thomas lost a 4-60-1 line over them in Week 7.

Cowboys start and sit down

  • Start: RB Ezekiel Elliott, WR Amari Cooper, WR CeeDee Lamb, TE Dalton Schultz, K Greg Zuerlein
  • Sit: WR Michael Gallup, Cowboys D / ST
  • Sleeping: QB Andy Dalton

Elliott eventually resumed his hundreds of paths against the Vikings and looked more inspired too, scoring in the passing game. Hopefully he keeps the RB1 mojo while celebrating Thanksgiving. … Cooper and Lamb are now in a better position with Dalton due to their intermediate road versatility. … Schultz scored last week and has a good namesake connection with Dalton, and this game is solid. … Zuerlein is skilled at collecting points at home. … Gallup’s deep threat has all but disappeared from the offense without Dak Prescott, making him sacked in most leagues. … You can’t trust the Cowboys defense. … Dalton had three touchdowns in Minnesota, which made him viable for 250 yards and two touchdowns here.

WEEK 12 PPR RANKING:
Marshal | Run | Wide receiver | Tight end | D / ST | Kicker

The foundations of this team made sure we had the clear quarterback and the best defense, which we did. Then Edwards’ bid price and its volume helped set everything else in motion. We did a mini-stack with Watson and Cooks and also included McLaurin. We also love the dynamic Steelers duo to keep getting the job done.
