Coronavirus: Ahmedabad will be scanned to avoid physical contact with the room

To curb the spread of COVID-19, Ahmedabad, India's second largest city affected by a coronavirus, has decided to go digital to prevent the spread of the pandemic through tickets.

As part of the period following the close of the preparatory strategy, all retail and home delivery agencies were contacted and asked to perform a 100% assessment of their delivery personnel, based on ;An order.

As an abundant precaution to prevent the spread of the coronavirus through banknotes, it has become mandatory to accept digital payments via the Unified Payment Interface (UPI) and other platforms , according to the order given Monday by the additional secretary general of Gujarat, Rajiv Kumar Gupta.

From May 15, all home deliveries must be paid digitally and payment on delivery will not be accepted, the order indicated. Gupta is also in charge of work related to coronaviruses in Ahmedabad.

The number of COVID-19 cases in the Ahmedabad district of Gujarat increased to 5,818 after 278 people tested positive for the infection only on Sunday. In the most affected city, Mumbai, up to 875 people received the positive coronavirus on Sunday, bringing the total number of patients in the financial capital to 13,564.

According to the order, the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation will train 100 teams, which will assist 17,000 stores selling vegetables, fruits, milk and groceries, etc. to install the online payment app on your cellphones.

In addition, they will also provide technical support and popularize payment via the UPI system.
This would prevent the transmission of infections through invoices, as some medical reports suggest that the new coronavirus survives on paper for several days.

Regarding home delivery, the order said that the Ahmedabad municipality will issue a health card valid for seven days for those giving birth and that all staff will need to download the Aarogya Setu app from their cellphone.

In addition, dealers will have to wear gloves, a hygienic hat and a disinfectant and abide by the rules of social distancing, he said.
