
LinkedIn launches virtual live event solution integrating live events and events

LinkedIn launched a new virtual event feature on its platform globally at a time when physical events are at risk due to the increase in coronavirus. Thanks to the new solutions, organizations and their audiences will be able to connect virtually in real time while respecting the rules of social distancing. The company said that using LinkedIn Live, companies can now host virtual events and broadcast them live to attendees. This was made possible through the integration of LinkedIn Live and LinkedIn Events.
Leading professional social media network said: "This integration between LinkedIn Live and LinkedIn Events helps companies organize live, real-time events in a trusted environment, attract the right professional audience, generate wide reach and a great commitment, and get more mileage for your events with a video hub dedicated to the events on its pages. "
Companies can create an event online on their pages and share it with the public. Participants will join the event when it starts and will also be able to comment when it takes place. In addition, LinkedIn indicates that organizations can continue the conversation even after the end of the event with the Videos tab.
LinkedIn said that based on their data, 82 percent of audiences prefer to watch live business streams than regular social media posts. He also said that his father Microsoft was already broadcasting his speeches live to his subscribers. The new functionality is available to all members worldwide in all markets on desktops and mobile devices.
LinkedIn launched LinkedIn Events in October 2019 and in March of this year it enabled companies to create events on their LinkedIn pages. He said he has now released the new solution with closer integration of events, pages and Live.
