If you've ever wondered when a particular special character will appear on your island, ask no more!

Data miner Ninji – better known lately for the review of the code of Animal Crossing: New Horizons – Generation rate of special NPCs recently shared in the game.

Here is the full summary:

– every week you are guaranteed to get Saharah, Kicks and Leif from Monday to Friday (if you meet your criteria, for example build Able Sisters)

– which leaves two spaces from Monday to Friday which will be filled at random by Gulliver, Label, CJ, Flick or Redd

– those who miss will have priority next week, as a way to avoid bad luck

– Celeste appears on days with meteor shower patterns (if you get more than one in a week, you will pick one at random), and it's totally separate.

– Twig chooses only one day at random

As previously stated, those who miss will have priority next week. It was also pointed out that some characters only appear at certain times of the day, such as Twig, for example.
