The microconsole craze shows no signs of slowing down, and Capcom now reveals it’s about to release a mini arcade machine filled with classic titles.
Dubbed Retro Station, this desktop unit has an 8-inch screen and weighs 2.1 kg. It comes with the following titles:
- Mega Man Battle of Power
- Mega Man 2 Los Power Fighters
- Mega Man X
- Mega Man Football
- Mega Man & Bass (Japanese console version)
- Street Fighter II
- Street Fighter II Champion Edition
- Super Street Fighter II
- Super Street Fighter II Turbo
- Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo
The unit was listed for sale on Amazon Japan, and while the page doesn’t currently have pricing information, according to Siliconera, it previously listed 21,780 yen, or around $ 210. From the thematically similar production of Neo Geo Mini, this is the signature behind this particular unit.
The Retro Station will launch in Japan on December 1, 2020, making it the second of its kind to get this year, with the Sega Astro City Mini being the other.
