Capcom is looking forward to a very successful exercise.
As part of Capcom"S disclosure of results (PDF) For publisher FY2020, the company mentioned its plans for FY2021, which started in April and continue until the end of March 2021.
By the end of the current fiscal year, Capcom plans to sell 28 million units, which is significantly higher than the past three years. It will do so thanks to 13 new references and the continued sales of its subsequent catalog.
Resident Evil 3 is, of course, its first major version of this exercise, so it removes three references, leaving ten. If we assume that all of their games will hit multiple platforms, it will likely be three or four games that will be launched by the end of March.
Resident Evil 8 is obviously the big buzz, and the publisher can be seated in a new fighting game. Then there is Dead Rising and its other small franchises. Dead Rising is closely associated with the Xbox, so a new one could be released alongside the Xbox Series X.
The release of Capcom does not hint at the series to which these games are part, just that they are "basic titles", but the sales expectations of the publisher lead us to believe that they will be great games.
