Codemasters in talks to sell to Rockstar parent company Take-Two


The The Board of Codemasters has confirmed it is in discussions with Take-Two over a possible deal.

A non-binding Take-Two proposal has been submitted to Codemasters to acquire the entire business, according to Street Insider

Yes confirmed by Take-Two in a press release.

The deal is reportedly worth £ 740million, but it’s unclear how much the company will pay Codemasters, or even if a deal will be finalized right away because, again, these are just conversations.

Codemasters are known for their racing titles and own the rights to games like F1, Colin McRae, Grid and Dirt.
