UNO, also known as Uno, Joonas Regalis or Mac, is one of the most famous card games in the world. It originated in Japan and was first published in China in 1941. Uno is an American style card game played using a specially printed pre-printed deck. The rules of the game place it in a family of strangely shaped solitaire games, and it has a lot in common with the classic European mo-mono game. It combines luck and skill, as you have to match cards in sets called “itsu” (meaning “correct” in Italian).

Each player receives 5 action cards and a stack of 100 jokers. When a player plays a wild card, that player skips the corresponding card from their turn and takes their place at the opposite end of the uno deck. At the beginning of each game session, players are dealt a hand consisting of one hundred and twenty-one cards face down, with wilds randomly placed in front of them. After the cards are dealt, each player immediately takes an action without making their turn.

At the beginning of the game, when each player has a chance to draw one card before the others, each player can choose one wildcard from the two cards they draw. In this part of the game, the player can either reverse the order of the cards (called “running”), or not change the order. If the player chooses not to change the order, he takes one card from the top of the deck and places it face up. The one who took the card must either discard it or pass it on to other players; if that player wants to discard a card, then the discarded card must be placed face up. These are the four basic rules of UNO that you must learn and master.
