Additionally, according to a recent press release, digital pre-orders will provide fans with early access to an exclusive demo at the warehouse level this summer.

The revelation originally appeared on Twitter, where screenshots of texts apparently sent by Tony Hawk himself were shared online. You can see the tweet below.

As you can see, the remasters are set up to present original maps, original skaters and songs from the soundtracks, as well as an unspecified series of new features.

While we are glad to see it finally confirmed, it was not exactly a secret that a new Tony Hawk Pro Skater project was in the works. Conversations about potential remasters or a new game were first revealed in 2019 via conversations on the bulletin board, and fans of the series have since relied on a more concrete revelation.

In addition, several professional skaters and musicians have confirmed their involvement in the project since the appearance of the first online leak. As recently as this month, in fact, professional skater Jason Dill was talking about it, mentioning that he had contributed to the Tony Hawk Pro Skater soundtrack. Now we can finally confirm what new project he was talking about.

The legacy of Tony Hawk Pro Skater deserved better than the unfortunate Tony Hawk Pro Skater 5, so it's good to finally see Activision bounce back by remastering what are supposed to be the two best games in the whole series.
