Video: Hear Super Smash Bros. Ultimate’s Main Theme Performed By 664-Member Orchestra

There aren’t many things that could make ‘Lifelight’, the main theme from

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, any more epic, but having it be played by 664 people at the same time sure comes close.

YouTube channel The 8-Bit Big Band has shared a new video showing exactly that, with 664 musicians from around the world coming together to record themselves remotely for the project. Co-ordinating and then editing all of those recordings together sounds like an absolute nightmare, so props to the talented folks who worked to make it happen.

The 8-Bit Big Band: «During the unfortunate events of the COVID-19, I wanted to create a way for musicians and video game music fans to come together virtually to work together on a piece of music we could all be proud of, and celebrate our love for the Great Video Game Songbook together!»
