OnePlus Nord will reveal the configuration of its dual 32-megapixel Selfie camera: report


According to reports, OnePlus North, the next OnePlus phone would have been OnePlus Z, will have two selfie cameras. This suggests that the next model will be the first business phone to dual selfie camera setup Since all of your existing smartphones, including the recently launched OnePlus 8 series, have a single selfie camera. The new report comes just days after the company accidentally confirmed the moniker of OnePlus North. A teaser page for the new OnePlus phone has also been available on Amazon, suggesting its imminent launch.

The configuration of the dual selfie camera on the OnePlus Nord will include a 32-megapixel main camera and an 8 megapixel secondary trigger, Android Central reports, citing a person familiar with the matter. The camera setup would be available as part of a punch design in the upper left corner of the screen, just like we have two selfie cameras in the recently released Realme X3 series.

The Android Central report contradicts an alleged representation of the OnePlus North, also known as the OnePlus Z, which showed the phone with a single self-portrait.

Since its creation in December 2013, OnePlus has brought all its phones with a single selfie camera. Last year, we saw a prototype that suggested a double-hole design on the OnePlus 8 Pro to accommodate two selfie cameras. However, the phone debuted in April with a single selfie camera.

In addition to two selfie cameras, a recent rumor has suggested that OnePlus Nord may come with four rear cameras. The phone would also contain up to 12 GB RAM and Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC.

While OnePlus has yet to announce the OnePlus North, it accidentally confirmed its name via an Instagram post which was later deleted. He indicated that the telephone which OnePlus Z to debut as OnePlus North.

OnePlus co-founder and CEO Pete Lau recently confirmed that he will be bringing not only a model, but a “line of low-budget smartphones” that will debut in India and Europe. The launch date for the first phone on the line would be July 10, although the company has so far suggested launch in July.
