Why did I accumulate this shit?

If you’re anything like me, and God I hope you’re not, you never throw away anything that uses electricity, and you’ve developed an elaborate series of questionable justifications for why it’s in. perfectly rational fact. Maybe you’ll need this USB-A to RCA converter cable in the future after all, or you’ll be using that five-year-old power supply to build a media box, or all of a sudden you’ll need this power pack. power supply to power some kind of long-forgotten device (not sure which one, but sure that one day it will suddenly become extremely important). Maybe those old laptops you’ll never sell are worth the money! Or maybe, just maybe, you’re just delaying transporting that shit to an e-waste facility.

My avid grasp of every electronic device is now kicking me around as I’m moving to a new apartment and these things are strewn all over my damn house. It’s everywhere and my fiance hates it. In the spirit of Refresh Week, join me in wondering why the hell I kept this shit in the first place before I visited the shredder.
