HOUSTON – A five-year-old boy and a 25-year-old woman died after a drowning Saturday afternoon in northwest Houston, according to the Houston Police Department.
HPD said two people were found in a swimming pool in a house on block 1400 of Mansfield Street. They were transported to the hospital, where they were later declared dead.
Neighbors said the house was owned by Carl Crawford, a former MLB player and owner of the Houston 1501 Certified Entertainment label.
