Statement by Donald Trump in full after Joe Biden is declared the winner

the Democrat Joe Biden has been declared the winner of the US presidential election by several major national media, beating holder Donald Trump.

In reaction to Saturday’s screenings, Trump immediately accused Biden of “rushing to pose as the winner”. The Republican has made repeated claims of voter fraud without providing evidence, and his campaign has vowed to challenge the result in some battle states.

“We all know why Joe Biden is rushing to pose as the winner and why his allies in the media are trying to help him: They don’t want the truth to be revealed. The point is, this election is far from over. Joe Biden has not been certified as the winner of any state, let alone highly controversial states that are heading for mandatory recounts, or states where our campaign presents valid and legitimate legal challenges that could determine the ultimate winner. In Pennsylvania, for example, our legal observers did not have meaningful access to observe the counting process. Legal votes decide who the president is, not the media.

“From Monday, our campaign will begin taking our case to court to ensure that election laws are fully enforced and the rightful winner is seated. The American people have the right to fair elections – that means counting all legal votes and not counting illegal votes. This is the only way to ensure that the public has full confidence in our choice. It remains shock ing that the Biden campaign refuses to accept this basic principle and wants ballots to be counted even if they are fraudulent, fabricated or cast by ineligible or deceased voters. A single party involved in a violation would illegally keep observers out of the counting room, then fight in court to block their access.

So what is Biden hiding? I will not rest until the American people get the honest count they deserve and democracy demands. ”
