Severe weather conditions passed through the Houston area Friday afternoon and overnight until the early hours of Saturday morning.

Storms are expected to emerge from southeast Texas around dawn on Saturday. Flash flood monitoring is in effect in most of southeast Texas until 1 p.m. Saturday.
