Cada año, LinkedIn publica una lista de lo que dice que son los 50 mejores trabajos para avanzar en su carrera.

Está destinado a posibles solicitantes, pero me gusta usarlo para algo más, algo que pueda ayudar a ejecutivos y empresarios de todo tipo.

En resumen, cuando encuentro un compendio como este, estoy feliz de tomar los puntos de datos y consejos y reconstruirlo. Obtendrá una buena perspectiva de cómo algunas de las empresas más exitosas dicen que reclutan y contratan a los mejores candidatos: estrategias que puede tomar prestadas para su propio negocio si se aplican.

Caso en cuestión: Alphabet, la empresa matriz de Google.

Según los últimos datos que he visto, más de 2 millones de personas solicitan trabajo en Google cada año. Esa es una cifra asombrosa, ya que representa más de 12 veces la cantidad de personas que trabajan allí actualmente.

Para poder gestionar este volumen de solicitantes aunque sea de forma remota de manera eficiente, Google tendría que tener dos cosas:

  1. Primero, los sistemas más eficientes: todo, desde sistemas de seguimiento de candidatos hasta selección asistida por IA y una gran cantidad de datos que informan cómo reclutar, cómo realizar entrevistas y cómo evaluar candidatos.

You don't have to want to work at Google -- or anywhere other than yourself -- for this kind of information to be valuable to your business.
