Trump urges states to open ‘ASAP’ as Dow surges

President Donald Trump on Tuesday urged states to open up from coronavirus lockdowns “ASAP,” as he celebrated strong gains for U.S. stocks.

Noting increases for both the Dow Jones Industrial Average

index, Trump said on Twitter: “States should open up ASAP. The Transition to Greatness has started, ahead of schedule. There will be ups and downs, but next year will be one of the best ever!”
