Woman, man found dead inside motel room in north Houston



HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – Two people were found dead inside a motel room in north Houston Sunday morning, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.

Around 10:30 a.m., deputies were dispatched to the Studio 6 at 220 Bammel Westfield Road, near North Freeway and FM 1960. Deputies discovered the deceased bodies of a 49-year-old male and 32-year-old female.

According to Harris County Sheriff’s Office, a man and woman were found unconscious on the floor of a Studio 6 motel room. Deputies were originally called out by a family member of the woman. The family said they had not heard from her in a day or two.

EMS was dispatched to the motel. Deputies said no one answered the room’s door. Deputies asked management to make entry into the room.

When deputies discovered the bodies, EMS pronounced the two people were dead.

Deputies said there was no trauma to the bodies. However, there was drug paraphernalia in the room, including what looks like to be substances.

The cause of death is unknown.

Harris County Sheriff’s Office is conducting the investigation.
