Forecasts
EarthDesk offers 12 projections to choose from, including Mercator, Azimuth, Equirectangular and Globe with optional star field background.

Centering
Center on latitude/longitude, a point relative to the sun or moon, or any of 10,000 locations. Data subscription gives you even more centering options.

Map Tags
Multi-color labels can be used to group cities into categories and locate them on EarthDesk maps. Labels are defined for each screen for maximum versatility.

Performance
EarthDesk for Windows runs in the background using minimal resources. In addition to a beautiful picture on the desktop, you won’t even notice that it’s running.

Multiple Screens
One, two, three or more screens can be used at the same time. Display different cards on each of them, or place one card on all screens.

Live cloud images
The free cloud image service provides Earth Desk with global cloud images with 2 megapixel detail. Standard cloud images are updated every six hours.

earthquakes
Watch earthquakes are happening all over the world. Choose the minimum magnitude to display, choose the number of days left, and dampen older quakes.

Named storms
Track major tropical storms, cyclones, typhoons and hurricanes. Choose how to label the storm and whether to display the Safir-Simpson category.

high resolution clouds
A data subscription provides you with high resolution cloud images with 32 megapixels of detail. High resolution clouds are updated every three hours.
