Identity V is the purest Dead by Daylight style asymmetric horror game where four players playing the survivor have to play against another player playing the role of a monster. The purpose of the former is to live and escape, and the latter must capture and kill as many survivors as possible.

You can choose to play as a survivor or as a monster before starting a new game. When we embody the survivor, our purpose is to activate a series of generators, which allows us to open the exit door. Of course, the problem is that monsters are constantly trying to hunt us down. And monsters are always faster than survivors.

When we play as monsters, our purpose is to hunt down the survivors. Normally you can win the game just by capturing two, but the more you catch, the higher your final score. Fortunately, even if we’re outnumbered, we can still use different skills to catch other players.

As you play, you can gain experience and unlock new abilities, characters and skins. The game also has the upper story of a detective investigating the disappearance of the entire family in a mysterious situation. As we progress, we will discover what happened to them. So, in reality, each game we play corresponds to a survey.

Identity V is an outstanding game, heavily influenced by Dead by Daylight mentioned above, but uses the Gothic “manga” aesthetic that could almost pass Tim Burton’s productions. The epic titles, surprisingly on mobile devices, appear stylishly on Windows. And best of all, there’s “cross-play” with both Android and iOS.
