OpenAudible is an open source program that makes it easy to use Amazon’s popular audiobook platform, Audible, from your computer desktop. Therefore, you can listen to audiobooks in an easy way.

The first thing you need to do to get started with OpenAudible is to link your Audible account. Otherwise, you will not be able to use many of its features. If you don’t have a user account, you can create one for free. After linking your accounts, you can download all audiobooks, save them locally and start listening.

Please note that some OpenAudible features are not available in this free version of the program. For example, you cannot import other audiobooks into the client. Some older versions of the program that are no longer officially supported have all features enabled, but this can cause problems.

OpenAudible is a very useful program for regular Audible users because it gives you more control over all your audiobooks. From the client itself, you can also see all relevant information about available audiobooks (author, duration, release date, etc.).
