Tera Term for PC Windows is a reliable software solution for remotely connecting Telnet or SSH hosts. An open source and free utility that implements software and emulates multiple computer terminals. With several plugins, the utility allows you to test the network and determine the strength of a firewall, as well as perform several tasks automatically. The software was developed by Takashi Teranishi in Japan in 1994 and won the “Online Software Grand Prize 97” in a competition held by the Japanese tool portal Madonmori in 1997.
