The Finnish brand of electric motorcycles RMK continues to produce the RMK E2 electric bike. The RMK E2 will be one of the first electric bikes to hit production, which will include an electric transmission and a hubless rear wheel. The unique feature of the E2 is that it not only uses a wheel without a hub at the rear, but the rear wheel is the electric motor. The integrated electronic motor has been designed as part of the rim and the output power is 67 hp (50 kW) and 320 Nm of instantaneous torque, which will propel the bike to a maximum speed of 160 km / h.

The power generated by the E2 motor is transferred via the electric cables housed in the rear rim. According to the manufacturer, the design and construction of the E2 help to reduce the un-purged mass, being comparable to a conventional motorcycle. And the rotating mass is also considerably smaller, which contributes to better acceleration and efficiency. Speaking of which, the presumed autonomy of the E2 is between 200 and 300 km at full charge, and the battery can be fully charged in just two hours.
