EU Council expands plan against cyber attacks

The Council of the EU decided on Thursday to extend the regime of restrictive measures against cyberattacks by one year (until 18 May 2021). Therefore, the Council may impose restrictive measures on persons or entities involved in cyber attacks which threaten the EU or its Member States, as well as third States or international organizations. Restrictive measures include a travel ban to the EU or an asset freeze.
