Photoshop tool for editing blog photos helps you create a graphic image by adding shapes and text that will amaze readers
Adobe Photoshop – is one of the best photo editing software for PC, which includes advanced tools for instant enhancement of blog images. They are simple and practical, which means that they can be used by both professionals and beginners.
1. Release the tool
You can use the Sharpen tool to make the details of your photos clearer. Select the tool from the toolkit panel and click on the image areas that appear blurry or blurry to enhance them.
Another way to make an image clearer is to use a filter. Select in the main menu Filter> Slip. This will increase the sharpness of the whole image and make the edges especially clear.
2. Photoshop actions
If you do not have the time and want to save countless hours working in Photoshop, you can use actions to remove excessive noise, make an underexposed photo brighter or handle blurred images.
Actions can also help adjust the white balance, mute the tones and improve the mood of the images. Furthermore, they will smooth out and retouch the skin to make your portraits more professional with a few clicks.
To use Photoshop actions correctly, start by making sure the Action menu is visible. If you do not see it, click “Window” and then click “Actions” in the drop-down list.
Select the action you want to use. Go to the bottom of the action menu, find a button with a triangle on the side, and press “Play”. Now you just have to wait for the action to take effect.
After the process is complete, you can enable or disable the new layer that contains the action by clicking on the eyeball icon and see how the effect changed your image.
3. Crop and straighten tools
The cropping tool allows you to adjust shifted, uneven images, as it also comes with an integrated Straighten function. To adjust a photo, select Pruning tool and press Straighten the icon on the toolkit.
When you select the crop tool, you will see a small arrow in the corners of the photo that you can use to rotate the image. Rotate it until the horizon line is properly aligned, then prune it to get rid of unwanted areas around the edges.
4. Spot Healing Brush Tool
This tool heals and erases stains and blemishes. Select Spot Healing Brush and click on the areas you want to clean. If the image has large areas you want to clean up, you can increase the brush size at the top of the toolkit panel to complete this task faster.
5. Marquee / Lasso Tool
If you are interested in Photoshop tools for editing blog photos and cropping them into a circle, star or any fun shape you want, you can use “Marquee / Lasso“Tool to draw a shape and then crop the image. This can be very useful for creating graphics for blog posts or a round profile picture.
6. Reduce noise tools
To perform noise reduction in Photoshop, you must first select “Reduce noise“Filter. If you do not know where the filter is, go to Filter menu, select Noise, and then select “Reduce noise”. In the opened dialog window you will find a preview area as well as various sliders and parameters that help you reduce different types of noise.
For example, when using the Reduce Color Noise slider, drag it slowly to the right until the color noise does not blend in with the image as seamlessly as possible.
7. Dodge Tool
When you are dealing with a large amount of shadows or just want to illuminate a specific area of your image that is underexposed, increasing the total exposure will lead to the loss of bright areas. In such cases, the Dodge tool can be infinitely useful. Select the Dodge tool from the panel and use it over underexposed areas to make them brighter.
It is important not to overdo it, as the image may look “fake” or edited. In that case, it is better to find an optimal exposure adjustment percentage and choose “midtones” to ensure that the image looks natural
8. Smudge Tool
The Smudge Photoshop tool for editing blog photos spreads color across the image, moving the pixels to the affected colors. It is similar to the effect created by the fingers that were stained over wet paint. Smudge works by “taking” the color at the beginning of the line and then mixing it with other colors you drag through with the cursor.
Select the Smudge tool, and then select the brush type and shuffle mode in the Parameters panel. Click “Try All Layers” on the parameters panel to use the tool using color data from all visible layers. If this parameter is not selected, the Smudge tool uses only colors from the active layer.
Touch the “Finger Painting” parameter on the panel to smudge the image while applying the foreground color at the beginning of each stroke. If this parameter is not activated, the “Smudge” tool uses the color below the cursor for the start of each stroke. Just drag the brush over the image to smudge the affected pixels.
