Apple has made certain locations on the startup disk difficult to access without changing certain Finder preferences. Even so, some navigation in the Finder is required to get to certain places that some users frequent.

Customize it to suit your needs

All available locations are initially enabled and displayed in the menu, but you can disable any that you don’t need to visit regularly. This reduces the size of the menu and makes it easier to navigate.
