amethyst is a simple macOS application that provides a long list of keyboard shortcuts you can use to manage multiple tiled windows.

Additionally, Amethyst is a replacement for fjolnir’s xnomad that can be extended to include useful features such as Spaces support.

In order to install Amethyst, all you need to do is download the lightweight ZIP archive, extract it using the archive utility of your choice, and copy Amethyst to your Mac’s Applications folder.

To start using Amethyst, you must first enable the accessibility options for Amethyst through the Accessibility Preferences panel.

Although Amethyst doesn’t have built-in support for macOS’s Spaces feature, you can configure it to use Mission Control’s keyboard shortcuts for desktop switching.

Additionally, you can also use Amethyst to effortlessly send windows of your choice to a specific space if a shortcut to that specific space is already open.
