Astronomy Guide Designed to help astronomy enthusiasts control and guide their telescope stand with the help of Mac. This utility allows you to guide, calibrate and control the telescope manually or using some automatic functions.

Easily connect to your camera and telescope mount

AstroGuider integrates support for a few telescope cameras, but it can also be used with local and remote INDI servers. You must select the camera and boot device you want to control from the minimalist drop-down menu, and the rest is handled by the utility.

After the connection is established, you can preview the captured image, start automatic calibration, start guided calibration, set sub-frames, zoom in and out preview, set black and white points, or set graphics mode.

Control the telescope camera or guiding device

AstroGuider also supports adjusting the camera exposure time and generating X and Y difference target maps. In addition, the application provides image histograms in a separate panel.

On the guide device control panel on the right side of the AstroGuider main window, you can set the deceleration guide mode (north-south, south only, north only or disabled), calibration step value, and RA or Dec aggressiveness, minimum error, and maximum pulse value.

In addition, you can also adjust the RA angle, deceleration gap, and RA and deceleration guide speed. Please note that you can set default values ​​for some of these parameters through the AstroGuider preferences window.

In the same area, you can disable unused AstroGuider camera drivers, view available INDI servers, or start running your own INDI server.
